Working alongside award winning hospitality designers 'Mystery Group' the striking new restaurant was delivered within a challenging but prominent location within Canary Wharf. The full fit-out was managed from inception to completion which involved the design and build of a new mezzanine floor and complete new services installations as well as the decorative and catering layout.

 

A rich palette of timber, leather, copper and terrazzo decorative tiles create a strong identity within the large volume commercial space. A focus on well crafted materials was important to resonate with the clients’ approach to crafted fresh pasta produced every day. Due to the large volume of trade during intense periods there was a requirement to design and create a large commercial kitchen and back of house spaces as well as considering catering serveries, bars and extract systems. Functional services infrastructure thus needed to be dressed in a way that was functional but also ft with the overriding interior aesthetic.

 

Full project management and contract administration services were provided which involved close collaboration with main contractor and a multitude of client direct sub-contractors and suppliers.

 

Liaison with Canary Wharf Group and the freeholders Brookfield was necessary to assist the delivery of a complex restaurant space within a challenging context.
