Role Overview
We are looking for a driven architect with at least five years of post-Part 3 experience in a UK practice to join our London studio.
The core project for this role involves the delivery of a landmark residential retrofit in central London, involving the phased renovation of over 500 luxury apartments. Works include the comprehensive renewal of building services to improve environmental performance, as well as the full refurbishment of interiors and communal areas to support contemporary living. The scheme also encompasses a number of supporting functions—including retail, wellness, and community spaces—offering opportunities to contribute from early concept through to on-site delivery.
In addition to this core responsibility, the role offers scope to contribute to a broader portfolio of public and private projects spanning residential, hospitality, commercial, and education sectors. We foster a collaborative, design-led studio culture where input is encouraged at every stage, and where team members are supported in developing their skills across a diverse and growing body of work.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day delivery of a major multi-residential retrofit project across all RIBA work stages, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and client-side representatives

Produce and review technical and design documentation to a high standard, ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations, standards, and project specifications

Oversee and coordinate BIM/Revit workflows to ensure efficient and consistent documentation across project phases

Manage site queries, RFIs, submittals, and ongoing contractor engagement during the construction stages

Contribute to internal design reviews, working collaboratively to uphold design quality across all stages
support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of shared learning and professional development -
Participate in the development of proposals and presentations for new and existing clients where required
Essential Skills
To be considered for this role, you will need:

ARB-registered with full RIBA Part 3 qualifications

A minimum of five years’ post-Part 3 experience within a UK architectural practice

Strong technical background, with experience delivering complex residential or retrofit projects across RIBA Stages 3–5
-
Excellent communication skills, with experience working directly with clients, consultants, and contractors

Demonstrable experience working on site, including direct engagement with contractors, resolving construction queries, and attending inspections

Proficiency in Revit and confident use of BIM workflows in a collaborative environment
-
A rigorous approach to technical detailing and quality assurance
-
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and responding to evolving project needs

A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to practice-wide dialogue and design development

Role Overview
We seek a Part II Architectural Assistant with at least two years of experience within a UK Architectural Office. The core project role is on a significant project currently on site and therefore provides significant opportunity for those seeking to progress their Part 3 or general site experience.
The core role is based on a major housing project in central London and involves preserving, improving, and restoring a prominent estate, with 542 apartments undergoing upgrades to modernise building services and improve environmental performance. Additionally, the interior of each apartment will be revamped to accommodate contemporary living while restoring the allure of living at a quintessential London address. Supporting functions such as a mixed use retail element is at an early design stage and opportunities exist to be involved from early concept and planning through to on site delivery.
Your role will involve direct communication with clients, design teams, contractors, and sub-contractors to meet project scope, budget, and schedule. You'll be involved in all project phases, expected to contribute to design reviews and presentations, and confidently share architectural ideas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture and a keen eye for detail. Technical proficiency and producing high-quality design and technical documentation are essential.
Beyond the core project role, we are involved in a range of public and private projects at various scales from small independent residential architecture through to mixed use masterplans and expect all of our team to contribute to the design development of all work in the studio. We operate a supportive, collaborative environment and seek ideas from the whole team at every stage through internal design reviews and collaborative working.

Assisting the Director and Project Architect in day-to-day project management of a large, landmark multi-unit residential refurbishment project from the construction stages.

Collaboration with the design team, exploring ideas through physical modelling and sketching.

Producing design and technical information using Revit.

Attending client, authority, and consultant team meetings.

Coordination with consultants and contractors and attending site visits.
Essential Skills
To be considered for this role, you will need:

Strong design and technical sensibilities with an understanding of building construction.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a UK Architectural office

Full RIBA/ARB Part I and Part II qualifications

Knowledge of UK Planning and Building Regulations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent working knowledge of Revit.
